Subsequently, this season's broadcast of "Upstairs, Downstairs" Series 2 consists of the 13 episodes that made-up Series 3 when originally broadcast in the UK. It is set in the years 1910-1914. Richard Bellamy hires Hazel Forrest as his secretary, much to the delight of his son, James. On a day his parents are absent, James invites Hazel to a lunch upstairs in the dining room, and he informs Hudson that he wants his father's best claret served as well. Hudson objects and then resigns after James orders him to serve the wine. Later, Richard demands that James apologize, but Lady Marjorie says that apologizing to a servant is out of the question. Eventually, peace is restored just before Lady Marjorie leaves for America...on the Titanic. Originally aired in the UK as Season 3, Episode 1
