Jirokichi holds an exhibition for a trick box containing Luna Memoria, the world's largest moonstone, on display in order to lure Kaito Kid. Kimika asked Jirokichi to open the trick box left to her by her husband. Conan senses Kid's presence nearby a... (more)nd is on his guard. The group sets to finding the written instructions for opening the box in the ten thousand books donated by Kimika. Later, Kimika recounts a memory of her husband in hopes that it will help them find the book. Conan realizes where the book is and the true contents of the box, but Kid makes his move.
