Reed loses a case against a young car thief in juvenile court, who is later spotted in his dad's car. Later, a robbery leads to a high-speed pursuit which ends in a traffic accident; the teen car thief is killed in the crash. The officers stakeout the house and arrest the supplier. An elderly woman insists on being arrested rather than ticketed for a traffic violation.
