Another recent managerial appointment, Manchester United's Louis van Gaal, takes his side to the Stadium of Light to face Sunderland. The Dutchman guided his native country to a third-place finish at the 2014 World Cup before taking over the Red Devils, who ended a disappointing seventh in last season's Premier League. The day's other game sees last season's FA Cup finalists Hull take on Stoke, who are hoping to build on their encouraging ninth-place finish in 2013-14.
