A series of purse snatchings involving motorcyclists is causing problems with the police, as they cannot follow them down the off-road trails they take. Reed holds a community meeting with the various motorcycle clubs (one of which is suspected in th... (more)e snatchings), but one of the club leaders challenges Malloy to a race on one of the off-trails. Reed teaches Malloy the secrets of off-road cycling, however Malloy loses the race but gains the respect of the club's leader, who helps them apprehend the suspects by blocking their escape route after another crime.
