This upsets family physician Dr. Clarkson and Cora. The two doctors disagree over Sybil's care as Dr. Clarkson insists that Sybil is suffering from eclampsia and should be taken to hospital. However, Sir Philip argues that Sybil is fit and healthy. Despite the disagreement Sybil delivers a girl and all seems well - until later that night when things go horribly wrong.
