Masterpiece Theatre Historical drama about automotive pioneers F.H. Royce and C.S. Rolls. When Royce becomes enraged because his new car will not run, he asks Platford to help him build a car. Afterward, Royce demonstrates his new car to Rolls, and ... (more)the two become partners. Despite personal distractions, the partnership becomes very successful. The pair go on to introduce several automobiles, including the Silver Ghost. Tragedy strikes however, when one of the founding partners is killed in a flying accident.
